Years ago I had it in three dogs. One bitch was the common denominator.

was incurable, interminable, devastating and horrific. One dog had to be

would only stop spinning to eat, and then continue until they dropped from
exhaustion. One was placed with my daughter(and he stopped), another was
placed
in a wonderful home where he was shown, and finished. He had to be watched
continuously. All these dogs had raw hairless tails, and anxious, expressions
as they stared at their tails before resuming spinning. I have no idea what it
was, what caused it, or why me!
One started at 3 months, one at 5 months, and one at 14 months! The one at
14 months had been suffering from pano...who knows? If I had it again, I would
be totally devastated. I was not going to get into this thread, but others on
the list have hinted about how awful it can be, and I wanted to validate
