Well, in theory, sure...BUT...as I said, shooting accurately in the chaos of
the moment is not as easy as it may seem...PLUS, at least in my city,
discharging a weapon, even if for all intents and purposes it is justified,
will very likely land you in jail, especially if the dog is not attacking you
specifically. Â And, the way things go these days, you could also find your
face on TV as the cruel murderer of beloved Fido who never hurt a fly in his
life and get sued.I know, sucks, but that is how things seem to roll these
days. Â That is why I am an advocate of using a stun weapon. Â It will
incapacitate the dog and allow you to go on about your business and the dog is
not dead. Â Since I have a carry permit I can carry a stun weapon. Â Laws vary
so one should check. Â cynthia
