No matter what you want to excel at, a mechanic, house painter, author, dog
breeder, you MUST study
what makes "a good one." You just don't start out at the top! A mechanic goes
to school or learns
from a shop teacher, the house painter learns what colors to mix, the author
learns about sentence
structure and the dog breeder learns about dogs. Doctor's go to school for a
decade! Learning and
studying to become good at something is the way of the world.....even in dogs.
The more you study
the better you get...this is not rocket science but it is a great deal of heart
break sometimes and long
time breeders deserve a red badge of courage. We have learned through our
tears and heartbreaks
and if we can save one new person our mistakes.....listen-up! Don't flap your
gums....listen! We
have much to teach. Long time breeders who became successful deserve
respect...they paid!
Become a student of them, skip over their mistakes and never stop learning.
None of us do.

studies, I saw what clicked, what didn't.

can't imagine opening my mouth to opine to the late owner of BJ's
ennels, (where I also met Connie Beckhart & John De Hope). Guess I'm aging
yself, not only by mentioning late-greats but by the respect I was taught for
heir accomplishments early on.
