I used to give my dogs one of those hard mint candies once in a while. Then
they used to go to the candy dish every night to wait for one; this
escalated to cough drops. Could barely get one into my mouth when they were
around.
I had a bitch who wouldn't eat her dinner until I gave her a salad. She
would sit and wait for her "first course" and wouldn't eat until she had
eaten her salad.
She had me well trained.
