Some years ago, a portion of our pedigrees did several generations of dalmatian girls that had spondylosis. Before your friend does any treatment, she needs to take her girl in for an x-ray. It could be something like calcium deposits on the vertebrae which also shows some of the same symptoms. That piece of our pedigree is no long up close so we no longer see spondylosis, but I suspect that glucosamine/msm and probably Rimadyl or Deramaxx as pain relievers. She really needs to do the x-ray or ultrasound first though... Jess M.
