I do not think it's funny either. Angie has the tendency to "look at her
back" when she is overly excited and/or bored. This can turn into spinning.
When she is in the kennel, I put her with our male Lab, Billy-Bob, whom she
loves. Also, I have loads of toys in that kennel. She goes on long runs
too. And naturally she's in the house as often as possible, which helps.
I think this is something familial or genetic as most things are. I sure
hate that she does it, but I'm trying like the devil to give her reasons to
stop.

It's not so funny when a dog dislocates his hip or bangs his tail so hard
that it has to be amputated.

When excited (ok, when I get home from work, and Bullwinkle gets out of his
crate, he levitates and spins. As did one of his distant aunts. One of his
pups is developing those moves. I finally got it on video. Cracks me up.
Thinking there may not be a cure!
