[ SHOWGSD-L ] some more board business

Was a little concerned to see that the board has voted to have all face to
face meetings next year (Jan/Apr/Jul/nationals) instead of
teleconferencing...didn't the oversight committee recommend by phone?
And with all the details for the world show, I would have thought they
would have at least one in Philly.....but not to be.
Apparently Jan will be in Atlanta for a warmer climate and less weather
problems...but both Apr and Jul are going to be in St. Louis.
If you are needing to save money so much and going on the 3 year contract
in St Louis, why face to face meetings? Can any board member answer that
here?
It was difficult to hear the discussions on the teleconferencing for the
first time for the members at this meeting, the last 3 open to the members
there have been no issues.
