The rules from AKC about soliciting assignments are very specific
and apply only to point shows..
..judges may solicit sweepstakes and match assignments with no penalty
attached to the solicitation.
There's even an email list that was established specifically for that
purpose!
Therefore, soliciting an assignment for a futurity would be OK in
the eyes of the AKC............it isn't a point show, but a match...........
