My vet doesn't recommend it for use in bitches to be bred because it can
damage <growing> joints and because of the fact it stays in momma's system for
so long...considering the number of people that use it prophylacticaly in
bitches to be bred, it sorta' makes you go "hmmmmmmm" no??????
(Don't take my word for it, google it and you'll find product warnings for
delayed ossification and smaller litter sizes dogs and cats at less than 2x the
recommended dosage and they way folks use it like chicklets...well, I'll
pass.)
