I agree Peggy. I oppose criminalizing marajuana, esp in medical instances
after watching my mom die slowly and painfully of cancer. NONE of the heavy
narcotics helped her. There was nothing i could do . She refused Marajuana,
because at 70, she wouldn't do anything that was "illegal"....so she suffered.
I don't give a damn if people want to chip dogs or not, license or not.
What I do oppose is lack of PERSONAL CHOICE. I oppose AC and the govt
penalizing the people , like most of us, that keep gates locked, fences in
tact, dogs
quite, and do VERY few breedings, and try to raise dogs that will benefit the
breed, as well as the families that own them.
I can look out past my house on any day and see my neighbors pack of almost
feral mongrels, mostly intact bitches , about 4 generations worth, running
the streets with puppies in tow. I resent that AC visits them and yet are
turning a blind eye to the puppies that get hit by cars or the dogs that roam
the
area, , chasing cars, and killing small animals , terrorizing people out
walking or trying to.
I resent that in a town 20 minutes from here it is OK to house 20 horses
on a single acre of land (not including babies) and as long as they have
some kind of food and some slimy green water, that AC could care less. But
own
more than two dogs?????? Better watch your ass.
I don't care how many dogs /horses/ ferrets/birds/ cats / chipmunks or
inca orchids anyone wishes to own. As long as they are: well cared for, not
causing a noise, odor or safety issue for those around them , not running
loose (which is where I have a real problem with those cat owners that let
their
animals come onto my property, soil it , enrage the dogs, have multiple feral
litters, and AC can't be bothered) Have as many as you wish, I am all for
it. PERSONAL CHOICE. Don't penalize good owners because of idiots. For those
who don't mind having their privacy and lives interfered with, great. Thank
Goodness we never had to rely upon your kind when the Constitution or Bill of
Rights was authored....sheep, who think we should all just go with the party
line. Sit down , shut up and do as you are told "for the greater good".
I am for the Constitution, I am for Life , LIBERTY and the Pursuit of
Happiness, I am for Due Process, and for the Right to Bear Arms, Freedom of
Speech
even when I hate what's being said .....I am for, as C. Heston so powerfully
stated:
"out of my COLD DEAD HANDS"
