My first US National was also in N.J. (Montvale) in 1968.Marie J. Leary
(gain) gave WD to Ch. Alf V Litzenfeld (owned by Al Zimer and handled by
Lamar O). WB ( under Gustave Schindler)and BOB from classes went to Albert
Engelman's bitch GVX Ch. Valtara's Image under judge Ernie Loeb and handled
by Fred Olson. BOS and GV went to the beautiful GC Yoncalla's Mike from
California owned by Bob Freeny and handled by Bob Penny.

The time fly so fast..............

My first national was in Tenafly (sp) N.J. in the 60's. I think Bob
Williamson judged, GV was Yorkdom's Pax, ROM and GVX was the beautiful
Bonnie Bergee of Ken Rose, UDT, ROM. All I really remember about that
national (I'm too old) is that I had the BBE dog win the class of over 40
dogs in the class, under the great Marie J. Leary, 
 What a thrill!
