We in Colorado consider ourselves to be in the West.
Colorado as Midwest?????? NAH!
I am very disappointed to learn that our board thinks contracts are made to be
broken. This decision will come back to bite us in venues that refuse to book
us or charge much higher deposits to guard against our default. And then,
there are the members who budgeted savings to attend at one location only to
find that location has been switched.
When the Board names a site for the National and commits a deposit, I think the
membership deserves to expect them to honor that decision. Did anyone run the
Purina scenario by The Ranch to see if savings could be realized?
