I believe there is a "wild recessive gene" in temperament - too much
"wolf" genes in the dog. Case: a puppy that just was not in to new
people, new places - but when he saw me - he went absolutely NUTZ (and
he had not seen me for a year or more since he was about 8 weeks old)
