Date: Mon, 31 Aug 2009 10:26:14 -040 0 Almost 16 years ago I whelped a litter from which I kept a bitch with an umbilical hernia. When she matured, the hernia was the size of a large walnut. She finished from Bred By Exhibitor, and had four litters during her lifetime. The hernia didn't interfere with anything. I lose that bitch this past spring... Her half brother, who was a year younger, had a hernia just like hers...he was my best stud dog... the hernia never interfered with him, either.
