My house bitch's OFA report said she has transitional vertabrae. She's
going on 12 and still knocks things off the coffee table with her wagging
tail - no sign of spinal or dead tail issues.

Thanks Melissa and Deb and Stormy for replying..The only way to learn is to
ask... I wonder about the breeding together of Shepherds who both have the
transitional verterbrae, if that would cause the dead tail problem?? It is
CERTAINLY just conjecture on my part, and a question in my mind..That is why I
ask... If it is worth pursuing, or disgarding it as a possibility..and go
further up the spine for finding answers for the dead tail. They do see it in
some
Hunting Breeds I believe and I'm trying to track that down..... .I really
appreciate your help!!! Barb Williams
