I wonder about the breeding together of Shepherds who both have the transitional verterbrae, if that would cause the dead tail problem?? It is CERTAINLY just conjecture on my part, and a question in my mind..That is why I ask... If it is worth pursuing, or disgarding it as a possibility..and go further up the spine for finding answers for the dead tail. They do see it in some Hunting Breeds I believe and I'm trying to track that down..... .I really appreciate your help!!!
