They tried to save her - similar to Barbaro - they didn't have the facilities then that they do now and when she was coming out of the anasthesia she thought she was still running - she re-shattered the leg they had done surgery on as well as her other front leg. There was nothing else they could do but put her down. Sue I knew right away it was a break, and I knew it was the sesimoids, as I had only seen that kind of lack of support in the ankle once before and it was on Ruffian. I hope and pray that Barbaros plight does not end as hers did.
