Subject: Lubbock Brags!
I am a little slow on my bragging this week...had a lot to catch up on at work
since we took the LONG drive to Lubbock this weekend! But, it was worth
it....our pretty young girl Lily (Windmill's Sweet Child O Mine) was Best Of
Breed (from Bred-By) both days for two points, bringing her total up to 7 (with
a major reserve thrown in for good measure!). Lily also won the Bred-By Group
on Saturday, making her a Puppy and Bred-By Group winner! We are very proud of
our little spitfire! Lily is sired by CH Kenlyn's Coach HiCliff Kaleef (litter
mate to Calvin and a repeat of Bailey) and out of Windmill's Every Breath You
Take. We are hoping to repeat this litter later this fall because we are so
pleased with how they turned out!
Holly also won Best Junior on Sunday...although she doesn't show a GSD, it IS
GSD related, because her Juniors dog CH Tsali Flash Dance was bred by Suzanne
Kinman (Yancy's owner)! We are very proud of her as well, as she is currenly
the number one Aussie Junior in the country, number 6 in the Herding Group, and
number 34 overall!
Ashley got second in a very tough Open Senior class on Saturday under the
esteemed judge Edd Bivin with Lily's cousin Maia, and showed her Pembroke puppy
on Sunday, getting 4th...so all-in-all, it was a good weekend for everyone!
