Just stirring the pot. ;). I am a diffent kind of newbiê having studief the
breed since the mid eighties by attending shows as a spectator through old
reviews ow now as a gsdca member and by Consulting the 3 or4 people thatI know
in this breed. Doèa this make me an expèrt? Not hardly. Still I get tired of
the kennel blind comments on the list. I've had a hard time getting my program
started wiyg females Lost to bloat and females with elbow dysplasia. Playing
the waiting game on replacement for the dysplastic bitch. Bad luck?
Understatement! But I will get this going as it is a 20 + year dream of mine.
Thanks for responding. Mike Crowson

Mike, don't waste you time, this is a gossip list. Too get real gsd
information talk to the breeder/handlers of the 3"K's". You will not find them
here, they are probably at a show, or working with they're animals.
Don't wait for a response from the regulars on this list, they love to ignore
newbie's, You know "Self Importance".

Got this post from Lee Brown( posted with his permission) after I mentioned
some of the former great GSD judges in one of my posts. Sound like a
fantastic idea, and I hope the GSDCA Board will support this idea. Also my
answer to
Lee. Helen Miller Fisher

You mention Ms Dodge so I wanted to tell you that the Morris & Essex show
has invited the GSDCA to hold a specialty or do a supported entry at the next
M&E Show.
They only hold them every 5 years. They do them the same way she did the
shows. All judging stops at noon and everyone gets a free lunch. Judging
resumes
at 1 PM.
A very good friend is the co chair of the next show.

Hey--that's just great-- why isn't that being broadcast to the membership ??
My dog Ch. Cuno von der Teufelslache ROM was handled by Ernie Loeb at the
last M&E,and the woman judge from England( Mary Pickford) wore white gloves
to exam the testicles. We went BOB,and yes, had a fancy lunch with sterling
silver and china on beautiful Irish linen. All the women at the show wore
hats
<G> including me. I bought one special when Dr. Miller and I went out east.
Ah memories--right on her front lawn, with servants in full uniform serving,
Nothing like it. It was her last show because she fought with Westminster.
because they took HER date, and she was not about to switch. I'm sure they'd get
a huge entry. I remember when they decided to resurrect it , and I had a
judging conflict,or I would have just gone ,just to see if they did it right
Ah--Memories Are you going to judge GSD there ??? That would be nice Helen
