Hi Laurie
Congratulations!!!! On your wins and OFA's (even more important)
We canceled Liza's debarking surgery; after five months, she is finally
getting the no barking message. I think debarking Jennie and Tia helped to
avoid doing Liza and she now has a new playmate -our Santana aka. Carlos (my
Mexican German Shepherd LOL Eddie's choice of name). They are wonderful
together. He is just four months (Kojak and Eve) and they have a blast
together; wish I had their energy. I am seriously thinking about letting
you take her to the National. I really can not justify going that distance
this year. If Kojak were ready for the BOB class, I would be there; however
I think he needs another year of maturity. Ohio will be a big one for us
since all the dogs will be more ready.
Liza is coming back down in the rear, not that she ever went really high
just a growth thing. She also went a bit askew in the rear (improving now)
and is still wide coming at you. I will work with her especially with the
baiting. She is a food hound and will eat anything not nailed down. She
like Scully must check each crate or crevice in the house and garage for a
fallen crumb. Anyway before we decide if you will take her, we need to
consider the coming at you and if it can get by this year. I am sure she
will get better with growth and deepening of the body just as Jack did.
