I use handlers as well, but I do not for one moment think that the
"jockey" is the reason my dog wins or loses. IT is all about the dog. Do
you really
believe that a "star" would not go anywhere because "a fat tub of goo male
owner or a rich blue haired old lady" was taking it in the ring?

Get in the middle of the ring and you will be amazed at what you see. More
then once I have seen this really nice dog being killed by their owner
handler-
You really have a hard time putting up the nice dog who is putzing around ,
won't set up - doesn't animate all because goo male or blue haired lady who
think they are good handlers navigating the ring with a dog
