Debbie and Cheryl did a great job manning the booth at the Meet The Breeds, I
went down and worked as a ring steward for the Obedience and stopped by the
booth a couple of times on my way to and from lunch or breaks, there was
always lots of people at the booth and always a wonderful dog for people to
love on
and feed (he will probably have to go on a diet) I'm not sure who it was but
he sure is what our breed is all about, a great representative for the
greatest dog in the world.
I was given time out to go and watch the breed competition, and it was fun to
see the dogs from Colombia, Mexico and Slovania.
I was really disappointed that none of the GSD"s that qualified and were
invited to participate in Obedience were there, our breed wasn't represented at
all . Big disappointment to me and it hurt every time I had to tell a spectator
that there were no GSD's there, and believe me a lot of people asked and were
as disappointed as I was not to have us represented. I didn't get a chance to
watch much agility and when I did I never was lucky enough to see the GSD's
run BUT THEY WERE THERE!!! and really doing great at least the first day, I
don't know the final results. But I am so very proud of all of you that got
invited and prouder still that you made the effort to go and represent our
breed.
