What she has is a black sire the carries a recessive gene for
dilution......a sable dam that carries a recessive for black and dilution....
not only
possible but it happened. Sable puppies come from their mother because sable
is
dominate.... black and tans because black and tan is dominate to all colors
and patterns except sable..... and blues which are actually solid blacks
diluted.
There are more factors to consider than just the color of the sire and dam.
