I have yet to find a situation that did not have multiple sides. However,
on this list, rarely are multiple sides presented. Often there seems to be a
small amount of information spun just right to get everyone up in arms. Or
if the information manipulation fails or worse backfires, suddenly the people
who were crucifying based on limited information are now singing the praises
of the persons they just verbally hung!
Transparency is great if you get to see all sides of the situation, but the
manipulation that goes on on this list supposedly for the sake of informing
the members is sickening. Being open on this list seems to be more of
spreading gossip and hearsay. Shooting the messenger is not the right idea but
taking his/her information with a substantial crystal of salt is a wise idea.
It is election time.
Thank heavens it is election time! It might just be the club's salvation -
I don't know with all the damage that has happened in the past 2 years.
This did not just start Susan. I have missed one meeting in the tenure of
this board and you must have attended to witness first hand the situation.
You speak with no authority and I personally find your post sickening as you
appear to be one who enjoys keeping your head in the sand. So carry on.
I seldom post negativity, but I have witnessed the metamorphic change of
this board and I have watched the lack of procedure, the lack of knowing and
following the rules and outright manipulation on issue and abuse in the board
room directed from member to member.
With the amount of outright lack of procedure and the amount of messed up
situations that have occurred including the review process, the Hunte issue
etc.......I think the wrong people are being asked to resign.
Our leadership should be asked to resign!.....shall we count up the amount
of errors they have made?
Give me a break........
I have watched good people I respect who should be well respected by all of
us being maligned and spoken rudely to. If someone wants to accuse anyone
of belligerence, I have some amazing emails from board members personally
that can put a big jump on belligerence.
Membership......I think it is time we start to take a grip on OUR club and
get this current and past situation sorted out. I no longer have faith in
"their" judgement to do the best thing.
