I have a litter being born as we speak. I have 4 deposits, and four others
waiting to see if I will have enough pups to take anymore deposits and my pet
price tend to be higher than most.. I plan on keeping 2 of the pups for show
homes, and all my deposuits know that I pick first, and all are ok with it, and
do not care what pick they will get. I think if you have well bred dogs, good
communication with your prospective homes, dogs with good temperemnt, OFA
Certifications, etc. and do not breed often (I only have one litter per year)
you should be able to find good homes . Of course, having a website, and
advertising throughth the internet also helps too. Just on side note, all my
potential homes are local (I do not ship) and have been screened. I had them
give vet references, will spay/neuter, agree to attend Puppy Kindergarten,
Basic Obedience, etc. and have met my dogs prior to giving a deposit.
