Lee, are you so sure that people on this List are apathetic? While Di's
post was a good one, what she said has already been said on this List --
more than a couple times. Perhaps most people don't feel the need to voice
their opinion on the subject matter over and over again? There's nothing
wrong with that. I, personally, do not feel this is apathy. And, at the
same time, I don't feel that Di or Sally were wrong in posting what they
think about Vick. A while back, I posted my feelings about Vick too. I
just didn't feel the need to revisit the subject after reading Di's post.
Perhaps this is what you are mistaking for apathy?

Kudos to you, Di, I could not have said it any better.
But I am really concerned over the apathy that this post has "inspired".
Doesn't it belong on the list? Where is everyone's outrage?
One lister told me that Vick has served his time and to let go but we know
the time he served was because he broke the law by having dog fights - not
because he killed them in the most heinous way.
Thank God my grandchildren know better. They all love animals and dogs in
particular.

I know a lot of people don't agree with me but let it be known that some
people also think it is fine to abuse children. They even have websites
to promote it.
I am proud to say I don't agree with the people who think this is ok either.
To me they are two of the same.
Maybe we should also let these people be super heros to teach our children
this is ok if
you can do something really good we will forgive you and if you can't we
won't.
If fact if Michael Vick was a regular guy he could not even get a job after
coming
out of prison.
Yet here he is "Super Hero". Not just that but he has people who are loving
animal
people who think it is ok cause he can play good foot ball. GIVE ME A
BREAK.
He is sorry alright. Sorry he got caught.
