She sued because the board would not let her judge in Canada and the United
States at the nationals the same year.
She was represented by a lawyer friend of hers in New York. The case was
settled, and even though I was on the board, I don't think any of the board
members know what it was. I think the President Dan Smith knew, but it was
handled between our insurance company and Pearl's attorney.
