I started using a Springer after my old dog, who I had biked with for years,
did a fast right turn to chase a rabbit and I ended up with torn cartilage
in my knee, a rotator cuff tear and bruises that took six months to
disappear. At this point, I use a vest for my dog with a ring on top of her
back that attaches to the Springer and alternate running her on the left and
the right side of the bike. Works well.
