Is funny how different cultures think. In most European countries altering
is considered a sign of irresponsible ownership. If you can't control
your dog's breeding you shouldn't own dogs! Y ou shouldn't HAVE to alter to
control breeding.     I've never seen a loose dog in Germany or any
other E uropean country in which I've travelled. I've only see one stray
cat. Personally I think we jus t take t he easy way out. Â

If research is reccomending that animals aren't spayed or neutered until they
are 2 plus then how does that prevent the unwanted pregnanacies? Most males are
sexuallly actice at 9 months and females around the same time. The last thing I
want to do do is get a call from a pet buyer telling me their 9 momth bitch is
pg by the neighor hood romeo or by their house dog.

Every report I've seen on early spay/neuter in the past few years has been
very much against it...the benefits are not worth the risks.
� That's the overall opinion...anyone who thinks otherwise probably needs to
do more research...vet or not.
