[ SHOWGSD-L ] requirements to hold a show

I've just tried to synopsize the requirements....see below.   It is 
patently obvious that a single breed specialty club (or even some group 
clubs) wouldn't be able to do some of the things given as choices.   
Can't you just see a local GSD Specialty club using 4 provisional 
judges?   Also, as usual, the AKC hasn't got its act together with what 
is required, for example, to hold an "Educational Match."  That 
information is promised for later in the year.

I warn you, however, that all you'll get back is boilerplate 
information.  If you can be EXTREMELY specific with your questions, you 
might get a helpful reply.
Don't count on it, tho.
    The information from AKC describes what each of these items (in 
column A and column B) mean and how to do them, except how to hold an 
Educational Match...as I said, that information won't be available until 
later in the year.  In the meantime I'm trying to picture some of our 
leading lights conducting a dog show tour........ha ha ha ha ha

Before being approved to hold a dog show, a club must:

from Column A,  at least three of these five things:

1.  have a sanctioned match (not a fun match)
2.  have an AKC educational match (can be co-hosted and a multiclub match)
3.  have a CGC test
4.  have an active Public Education program  (document significant activity)
5.  some other educational or outreach program

 From Column B, at least 2 of the following 11 things

1.  conformation or other training classes  (must be open to the public)
2.  breeder referral service   (must be known to the public...that is, 
advertised in newspaper, yellow pages, etc)
3.  two educational programs for members AND the public OR formal judges 
education
4.  dog show tours (have to submit documentation)
5.  Register Handler Seminar or workshop
6.  New Exhibitor Briefing
7/  Opportunities for provisional judges
      (for entries less than 1000 dogs, at least 4 provisionals
8.  AKC show committee seminars
9.  Disaster Planning
10.  Meet the Breeds
11.  Health Clinics (open to the public)
