I know we've had several respoonses to this question about the phone relay.
This is the first one that seemed to understand what is going on with this
type
of call. However, when I first saw it, I immediately got a red flag in my
head,
not just due to the relay part but -- the person's name seemed fake -
Mascot!
I have never sold a live animal to anyone without checking them out and
seeing
them in person etc. It just seemed to risky to me since, we are dealing
with lives.
I may have mentioned this before, but a number of questions folks would ask
did
turn me off - like "how big are they" and "how much do they weigh" or that
kind
of question. Oh, the one "How much are they?" - got my dander up each time!
I hated people to ask that one and I'd always tell them I never have the
same
price for each dog, they're not like pieces of furniture, all the same.
It's so very
important to check out anyone who contacts you and is unknown. Hope this

Relay Calls are used for the hard of hearing. I have had to deal with Relay
calls several times in our business. You are supposed to talk to the
operator
(relay person?) as if they were the one who was calling. It is a very odd
and uncomfortable situation, but it is not a scam. Whether that person
would be
