[ SHOWGSD-L ] recipe for liver Bait

Anybody out there have a good recipe for liver bait...??? Please only a
recipe for one that is fairly dry and doesnt become mush in your pocket...

Yes I do...
Here's one I used some years ago....
Cut liver into strips about 1/4 inch thick, then cut the strips into 1 inch
pieces.
Marinate in garlic sauce for an hour or so.
Place in the over for an hour or less at 300 degrees.
Package in plastic bag and take to dog show.
Place a package or two in your suit pocket, show the dog where they are.
Go to show ring, bait dog, take blue ribbon, come back for winners, take
another ribbon, talk to judge, talk to friends, take pictures, get hot, take
coat off and throw it over crate.
At end of show fold up crates, grab everything, put ribbons in pants pocket,
put everything in car and drive home.
Arrive home tired, proud and throw everything in house, or garage, hang up
clothes, throw away impossibly ruined crumpled ribbons, take a shower, go to
bed and sleep for 10 hours.
Get up early, go to work, come home and go into usual routine.
Wait for next dog show, about a month or more.
Go to closet and get handling clothes down, and realize, from the smell that
the liver snacks are still in the suit coat.
Throw away clothes and hire a handler and tell him to bring his own darn
bait.
