amen to that, ileana. if we insist on ignoring, morphing or downright
denigrating our standard, i propose the following classes be added to our
national:
1. Stagey Puppy Class - puppy's legs must be growing at 2 times the rate
or better than the rest of his/her body
2. Naked Class - for all tight coated or out of coat dogs/bitches
3. First Season Class - bitches entered must be in week 2 of season at the
national
4. Tail Class - split into 2 divisions ... curly tails and dead tails
5. Post-Coitus Class - for males who get breedings at the national
6. Grecian Formula Class - for young dogs whose muzzles are prematurely
grey
7. Black and Magenta Class - for all the color-enhanced lovelies out there
8. Oops, I Dropped The Leash Class - when all else fails
9. Who Can Tell Class - for dogs with tipped ears, light eyes, splayed
feet
10. Porch Class - for those really big dogs who made all the standard
sized dogs leave
SERIOUSLY, FOLKS?????????? supposedly, we want the dogs to conform to the
standard - let's try sticking to that.
