Does it exist like a regional club? Can the WDA split from the parent club and become independent of the GSDCA and recognized by the AKC? Does the World Union recognize the GSDCA as the only GSDC in the USA at this point in time? Was the WDA formed as a requirement to belong to the World Union? Well, I probably shouldn't answer since my brain is very tired today but .... Question One - The WDA is a separate Organization now. It has it's own by-laws and is incorporated in the state of Colorado. However, there are close ties - among them that those representing the GSDCA-WDA in the World trials must be members of the GSDCA as well as WDA. The World Union also recognizes USCA (United Schutzhund Clubs of America) and that has been a problem for us. The last question I think the answer is yes but history questions late in the day need to be verified.
