[ SHOWGSD-L ] question on temperment test?

As a new person showing a German Shepherd, what should you do in the ring if a
judge appears to be scaring a puppy, I don't have a puppy yet but thought I
would ask. I live in the country and I'm by myself a lot, I don't want my dog
to be going up to just anyone. I am showing a 4yr old girl who I'm not sure
would back down in some of the cases mentioned, I show all breed and I handle
her myself, so wondered what should you do, I watch my judges ahead of time, if
it seems like a bad situation do you just not put your dog in.
