I know a little about real estate and I don't think this property is a
"deal" at all. It's not in a desirable region of the country. It's a
mobile home, and the kennels are suited for only small dogs.
Take a look at this listing for a kennel in southern Wisconsin. Look at
what you would get for the asking price of $229,900. (If you go to the
website, make sure you click on more pictures.)

Now compare this place to the puppy mill. Yes, it costs more, but what
would it take to make the puppy mill a comparable deal as this listing? A
heck of a lot more than the difference in the asking prices of $79,900!
I'm not trying to be negative here, just realistic. I'm more than willing
to help build/support a rescue sanctuary, but not one like this puppy mill
in "tornado alley."
I, for one, would like to hear more about the latest plans for the Last Hope
Safe Haven, Inc. sanctuary. Perhaps, Dawn, Pat, or Vicki would like to post
more about their plans to the List.
