If I could get a sheep on the other side of the ring, that boy would fly. Got
some really nice movement pictures from the herding trial.

So true. It has been interesting watching the border collies, cattle dogs,
kelpies, and aussies, too, and to see that each herding breed has its assets
and

challenges where moving livestock is concerned. I have learned much about
movement, and about the standard, watching our breed trot off lead and do all
of

the things it needs to do in order to work properly. Take away the leash and
the professional handler, add sheep, and everything changes! Don't get me
wrong, though! I love my handlers! XXXOOO!!!!!

Yes, that's how I dual titled Cody and his son JR. Totally agree with you.
And

BTW, after going to all breed herding, don't you have a new appreciation for
the

entire group??? I know I do. I learned things about different breeds I never
would have imagined...love it. That annoying high pitch sheltie bark...it's
how

they move sheep, lol. They're only ity-bitty after all! The Old
English...their "power" is in their coat...ever see one jump up and down to get
sheep out of a corner...and so on.
