How true that it depends on where you live.....my experience here in SD is that
anything over $150 is too much money, and they're just going to be a farm
animal anyway, so OFA...???

puppy miller in Lancaster that gets $1,000 for dogs you can't register with
no #s in pedigrees if you looked with a search warrant:) And, he'll only
take
cash thank you very much and I doubt he can spell "contract".
So, to answer Julie's question, prices vary depending on where you live. A
well bred pet puppy, OFA's parents, health cert can be $1,000-$2,000
locally.
(And at that price, they are spoken for well before they are ready to
leave.) All things are relative though. I think we have higher vet bills
than a
lot of areas of the country <VBG>.
