Another good place with some ambience is the Spindletop restaurant on
Crocket St. downtown.
And for when you want something fast, kitty corner across from the Elegante
is the new Golden Corral.
Never cared much for the old one but this one is well patronized....it has a
long long buffet divided into different food groups....Mexican, Chinese,
good ol American, seafood, tons of salads and for the sweet toother, about 75
desserts. We have never had a bad meal there.....
