You are most correct Carolyn,
My club( GSDCMSP) has had the method in our By-Laws for many years,
Nominations are taken from the membership,and are voted on many times,until a
final majority on both Conformation &Obed/Rally is reached. That is the only
fair way to select judges. This year,we ended up with Dick Jones from
Florida,and Tony Monk from Canada. Both did great jobs with different judging
patterns, ending up with majors at both shows. Obed /Rally had 52 entries
Helen Miller Fisher--who founded our club 60 yrs ago ,and has served in
every office,and loved every bit of the lean and good times >G>
