Arnica is great for swelling and inflammation, and I will use it to make
the dog comfortable because it wont mask the pain and the dogs wont over do
it. I've used it with great success myself for my bad back, and it works.

However......... I wouldn't show a dog in pain. That's not the memory I
want my dogs to have regarding showing. There will be another show later on,
one where he/she can have fun and I wont look disappointed when they come
out of the ring after losing because they are in pain.

I think of it as driving (gaiting) under the influence....<G>
