I don't believe she is lying--Floyd County Police, Floyd County Animal

the GSDC of North Georgia have pictures and documentation. Peg

I have talked to ALL of them. THERE IS NO CASE. They have said so. Animal

Control HAS NEVER BEEN TO MY PLACE. Floyd County Police have NOTHING...
the
officer that was here NEVER filed anything! You are welcome to call them
and
ask them. The State Ag Dept has never been to my place and has no reason to.

The Georgia Department of Agriculture is closed on weekends as is the Floyd
County Animal Control. They keep skeleton crews on in case of disaster or
extreme emergency. It is up to the County Police to call in the County AC and
up
to the County AC to call in the Dept Of Ag. That being said............
The owner checked themselves into the hospital on Wednesday evening. On
Thursday and Friday another party drove over an hour each way to feed, ex and
water the dogs. That person took a male they co owned home with them because
they said they did not want the dog in the conditions they were in. That person

stated they would not go back to the house to care for the dogs due to the
distance and conditions and it was relayed to the owner that they would have to
get someone else to care for them. Certain parties were asked at 9:30 pm
Friday night to take care of 5 puppies and 5 adults while the owner was
hospitalized. On Saturday morning that party who was asked to care for them
while the
owner was hospitalized, took the 1 and 1/2 hour one way trip up with others
to assist, to get the dogs. On the way they were informed that a complaint on
the conditions had been submitted. They were instructed on what procedures
had to be followed to cover their collective rear ends and make sure that the
dogs were safe and cared for. When they arrived at the residence they were met
by 2 County patrol cars who followed them onto the property. When the
officers saw the 5 six month old puppies in what they said was a 5x5 kennel
with no
food, filled with waste, 1 small dogloo and a tattered tarp for shelter and
2 buckets of very dirty water, they called the County Animal Control. They
then had one of the parties call the owner and get permission to enter the
house, remove all animals and whatever supplies needed to care for them. This
was done on speaker phone and witnessed by the police and others there. The
police then asked the owner what their address was and the owner gave it. Each
officer had a County AC supervisor and weekend contact on the phone relaying
step by step what was going on and the condition of each dog pulled and the
conditions each dog was in. Photographs were taken by the parties in attendance

and written documentation was made as each animal was removed. This
documentation was given to the County Police Dept, County Animal Control and
Dept of
Agriculture. The people involved followed the letter of the law while there
which was witnessed by the attending officers. No, charges were not filed
because Dept of Ag and County AC were not on duty and were not physically
there.
The parties involved were informed by the Dept of Ag that what should have
happened since it was the weekend, is that the animals should have been fed,
watered and exed, then placed back exactly as they were until Monday am when
Dept of Ag came on duty. Dept of Ag knew that the parties would not have
subjected the animals to that. The documentation is not "so called", it is a
very
detailed account of what occurred and what was found. The parties involved are
all well respected long time members in good standing with one or more
regional clubs and the PC. They breed and some rescue. Only 1 knew the owner
personally prior and no one had an axe to grind or agenda. I was one of the
parties involved.
