[ SHOWGSD-L ] old dog coat

help - my over 12 girl is driving me crazy - she is beginning to blow- but
has at least 3 inches of old dog coat (wool). she is not interested in holding
still for any length of time. I can't bath her yet she can no longer do the
basement stairs and it is too cold out for a bath outside.
any suggestions. Blowing her with the dryer doesn't help much either-the hair
in the house from everyone is becoming overwhelming
