I worked that test with Bob, he let me handle the gun, (not the best idea
in the world). The only two dogs that failed were Schutzhund dogs, for

The test is interesting, but not a very good way to evaluate a German
shepherd. They are so much more than how they react to a can with rocks in it,
or an umbrella. The German shepherd is a dog of many talents and uses, and
if they fit where you need them, that is a good dog.
I have seen dogs from the same litter with different personalities,
(temperament), and we currently have two young males under a year old we are
showing who fit that pattern. They are very different, although they look
alike. They have both won a Reserve now, one with Mr. Raul on him, (Sarte),
and the other (Kirk) with Ms. Summer on the lead. They will grow to be very
different dogs. But, both with great temperament.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
