..and what lines are those Kathy? I only ask because if it's common knowledge
to many that bloat runs in certain lines than is it really a big deal to post
it?

OK, if you want to stick your head in the sand....
Just because we don't have a DNA marker doesn't mean that anyone in the
breed longer than five minutes can't see bloat/GDV/torsion and other gastric
issues (toxic gut) run in certain lines.
Can their be triggers (stress/condition)...yes.
But please don't deny a genetic component.
