[ SHOWGSD-L ] not eating

I had a Boxer several years ago.
We went in for a C section. Vet took out 5 puppies. No girls. I told him I
needed a girl and she had 7 puppies last time, so to keep digging. He said
everything is out , sorry no girls.
I went home. Bitch would not eat or drink or settle down. For a couple of
days. She started nesting again. I told the vet she was in labor and had to
come back in. He said now Judi I know you wanted a girl but it just wont
happen.
I took her in anyway and demanded an xray. Guess what! 2 huge puppies.
Lucky for him , they were both boys and both white.But still alive.
Back in we went. I said spay her , I don't want to go through this again.
Still no eating or drinking. This time very lethargic. Dropping pools
of blood at a time.Vet said bleeding is natural. I screamed, I KNOW WHAT IS
NATURAL!!! She is in trouble. Blood count was dangerously low. Back in we
went. She had tried to grow a new uterus by attaching the uturen stump to
the intestine.
She had a mass the size of a soft ball.
I made the vet tube feed her puppies for several day.
My bitch lived to be 13. I guess I had the only bitch in the world to
survive, two C sections and two spays in less than two weeks.
