Good morning Listers, Ah, yes and thank you Viv. I'll be rioting, as
usual,
today about the opposite at this time BUT since we are dog people we DO
have patience (as in training, whelping, etc.) and what happened yesterday
here in the very humid, wet, swampy La., I'm here to announce that COLD
is on it's way. I'll share the odd thing happened that will give us that
information.
I've lived here since the mid 60s and last year and yesterday were the first
times EVER, that the CANADIAN GEESE ARRIVED. Very early as they
usually do not get here until mid or late September. Prepare yourselves
for
a real winter. Remember now, last year, right here in Baton Rouge, we had
SNOW on 12/11 of 4 1/2 inches and it stayed for almost a week of icy times.
It was recorded as the first snow in more than a decade here. So, get ready
folks. One wonderful thing I saw last year on another list allowing pics,
was
some great GSD puppies romping in snow of what looked like well over 2
feet deep somwhere in the frozen nawth. I loved it, of course I wasn't
there
tho. To cause a riot concerning something common as POLITICAL C ***
would be fun, but not here, we don't do that. Ok, I'll lurk (a bit) Norma
