One thing I haven't seen mentioned about the "new rules" (maybe I missed it) is sour-grapes complaints. "John Doe's Fluffy won because he was on ______________ for his __________!! His win should be invalidated!" I'm wondering about performance events... the rule mentions Obedience dogs "should be withheld from competition" until the drugs have worn off. Is that rule just for Obedience? or all performance? I don't see a problem with performance dogs competing under the influence of rimadyl, soloxine or prednisolone. If someone is drugging Fluffster so he won't eat the judge during the stand for examination... THAT'S a problem that should be addressed.
