Some years ago, a local friend had a GSD that he obtained from me. One day
he visited a golf club (he was a member). He had the dog with him & as it was
hot, he left the car running for the air conditioning. Well, he he fell
down & had
a seizure. They were taking him to the hospital but needed to turn off
the car.
No one was allowed near the car, the dog said - no one enters this car except
my owner.
Well, my friend told them as he was being loaded in the ambulance to call me.
He did not give them my number but our name is quite unique & they did finally
call me. I rushed out to the club house. When I arrived there were several
police officers surounding the car. I got out of my vehicle, walked over
to the
car & said hi to him. He wagged his tail very hard. I opened the door & let
him out. I made him sit so I could put a collar & lead on him. He gave me a
big kiss & the officers laughed. Several of them asked to approach him &
I said sure. He greated each of them & enjoyed the attention. Obviously the
officers were very impressed. He was A GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG!!!!
