Molly - actually, I think your idea is worth considering. The Golden Retriever
parent club does something similar - with directors representing regions of the
country but the entire membership votes on all directors. The board is
structured now so that some regions have no representation on the board. For
example, I don't think there is anybody from the northeast now that Deb
Hokkannen is no longer on the board.
