any dog tells you more about the owner than the dog.
A serious trainer will go to where he is most likely to find a dog that
will work. A conformation breeder will go to proven producer that produces
the style of dog he likes. There is nothing wrong with that. We all know
that we placed the temperament test in the conformation ring for a very good
reason.

Geeze, that's a damn shame.
I have wonderful work ethic on my dogs and I'm sure you've heard of Lori
Nickeson? I could easily name a half dozen more...
And with me you see them in the breed ring but I'll also send lovely
prospects to OB homes. JR (Dual titled, TC'd and all the rest) has yet
another
daughter a leg away from her UD, so I don't even want to hear derisive
comments about "baby" titles. (BTW BOTH of this bitch's parents were
breed
CHs.)
Why some think a dog had to be butt ugly to have work ethic I'll NEVER
know....is there a butt ugly gene that follows the work ethic gene?????
